Course: “History and philosophy of science”
The educational material corresponds to the program of the candidate minimum in the history and philosophy of science, developed by the Ministry of Education and Science of the Russian Federation. The main attention is paid to the philosophical analysis of science as a specific system of knowledge, a form of spiritual production and a social institute. The course discusses the regularities in the development of science, its origin, stages of development, and structure. Science is considered in the socio-cultural context of its historical development.
Course: “Pedagogy and psychology of higher education”
The course discusses the essence and structure of the educational process, goals and content of higher vocational education, concepts, methods, means and organizational forms of training and education. Special attention is paid to the introduction of modern pedagogical technologies, and improving the quality of higher vocational education. The course considers the psychology of educational and cognitive activity of students, psychological features of studentship, the basics of psychological and pedagogical diagnostics, the teacher’s professional activity and personality, as well as issues of educational and pedagogical cooperation and communication.
Course: “Methodology of scientific research”
The course focuses on the problems of organization of scientific research, the principal general philosophical and general scientific methods of the empirical and theoretical levels of cognition, as well as issues of their practical use in research and practical activities. The course highlights and specifies the stages of research work, including the choice of the direction of research, formulation of the scientific problem, conducting of theoretical and experimental research, and recommendations for the design of the results of scientific work. Issues related to the organization of the dissertation study are discussed in detail.

1981 – graduated from the Historical Faculty of Bashkir State University.
1987-1990 – studied for the postgraduate degree at Lomonosov Moscow State University at the Department of Philosophy of the Faculty of Humanities.
1991 – defended his thesis on the subject: “Dialectics of truth and error in the social utopia”.
Field of scientific interests: worldview and social institutions, factors of social progress.
Author of many articles in refereed journals, author and co-author of educational and methodical works.
35 years of scientific and teaching experience.
Course: “Foreign language (English)”
The course is tailored personally by the teacher and includes all the necessary aspects of language learning: each class focuses on both passive skills (reading, listening) and active skills (speaking, writing), involving the discussion of the most important grammatical rules and academic vocabulary. Discussion topics, reading articles and video/audio materials for listening are selected with a special emphasis on the academic interests of postgraduate students (modern technology and research in various fields, environmental problems and water resources issues in particular, climate change, etc.). The classes also cover more general topics (for example, articles from the field of culture or economics), so that students could freely express their opinions in English in various situations.
By the end of the course, students are expected to have sufficient knowledge of English to translate and edit English texts, listen to lectures and write scientific articles in English, make presentations for international conferences and participate in scientific discussions.
